work with me on your writing projects
In addition to my journalism work, I work with clients on ghostwriting projects and book research, development and editing. I also research, develop, write, edit, and translate content for companies, including newsletters, website content, product descriptions, brand policies, and annual reports. I have clients in fashion, online services, and tech. I keep my journalism and my commercial content work strictly separate. Reach out to hire me at hanna@hannakozlowska.com.
Below are several publicly available examples of my content work. Contact me for more!
CHYLAK
Chylak is a globally-renowned Polish luxury handbag brand. An influencer favorite, it’s been written up by Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and many other international publications. I’ve worked with them for many years, conceptualizing product taglines and writing website and packaging copy (in English). I also translate and edit web content and product descriptions.
SUSTAINABILITY PAGE
I researched and wrote Chylak’s sustainability mission statement, taking care to be transparent, thorough, and specific.
Sustainability and social responsibility are at the core of Chylak’s mission, and have been from the very beginning.
INTERVIEW FOR CHYLAK’S JOURNAL
I had fun talking to designer Lotta Nieminen about her work for Chylak’s in-house publication Journal, a collection of conversations with women who inspire the brand. (Written under my husband’s last name.)
Whether she’s illustrating a kids’ pizza recipe book or creating a window display for Hermes, she tries not to think about the scale or prestige of the assignment, because that can be paralyzing. A project is a project.
TRUST & WILL
For three years in a row, I have researched and wrote a multi-page reports on trends in estate planning among millennials for the digital estate planning start-up Trust & Will. The projects included survey design as well as data compilation and analysis. You can also download or view all three full versions (2024, 2023, 2022).
American millennials have lived through several world-altering events that have shaped a certain shared experience. Their formative years fell during major economic and political upheavals: 9/11, the 2008 financial crash, and now, the COVID-19 pandemic. Awareness of climate change has loomed over them since grade school. They have more student loans than any previous American cohort — and are generally on track to be the first modern generation to be financially worse off than their parents.
